Kareem has been enamored by films ever since he saw “Jurassic Park” at the age of 14. The thrill of watching a captivating story unfold on screen left a strong imprint in his heart. Fast forward 10 years later, the passion was still there. Breaking out of the norm, he left his promising career as an engineer and threw himself head first into film making; beginning with a course in Singapore (Advanced Diploma in Film Production) and later in Los Angeles (Summer Film School at USC).
He returned and scored his first film gig as an Assistant Director is a one-of-a-kind local feature, “Sell Out!” directed by Yeoh Joon Han. Since then, he has been working as a freelance director, producer, writer, cinematographer and editor in an array of short films, music videos and corporate projects. He believes in the power of a compelling story and hopes to bring that across in every film he makes.
